Congratulations to Lisette Borja and service dog-in-training (SDIT) “Chloe” for their outstanding work during the past month. Lisette is a student at AAEC High School, and is earning high school credit for participation in the service dog training program. Lisette is excelling in our program, and her love for animals is evident. Thanks to the hard work of Lisette, Chloe has started to master basic obedience commands and shows every promise of becoming a wonderful service dog.

This team is on track to graduate in May of 2014, and at that time Lisette will turn Chloe over to a local hero in need. Paws up to Lisette, who is making a positive and lasting difference in her community.
